how to make this zero calorie

I just love this recipe for Sweet Iced Tea because it is essentially zero calorie! How is that so? To sweeten the iced tea we use “erythritol” monk fruit sugar. For added flavour and nutrition I like to add in 1 packet of Organika Electrolyte powder: Lemonade.

Erythritol monk fruit sugar is a sweetener that combines erythritol, a sugar alcohol, with monk fruit extract. Erythritol is a low-calorie sweetener that tastes similar to sugar but with fewer calories and a lower glycemic index. Monk fruit extract is derived from the monk fruit and is much sweeter than sugar, so only a small amount is needed to provide sweetness. Together, they create a sweetener that can be used as a sugar substitute in various recipes, offering the sweetness of sugar without the calories or significant impact on blood sugar levels.

The second essential ingredient to make this zero calorie iced tea drink is to include 1 packet of Organika Electrolyte Powder: Lemonade flavour. This gives a great tasting lemonade flavour and will help with hydration.

what kind of tea to use:

To make this delicious and most refreshing Iced Tea recipe you will need 3 Orange Pekoe Tea Bags, and 1 Green Tea Bag. I like to steep the tea for up to 10 minutes before discarding the tea bags.
