the secret is out: ripen the bananas instantly
So you want to make banana bread but your bananas are just not ripe enough? Here is a little hack for getting those bananas to the perfect ripeness!
What you will need to do to get those bananas perfectly ripened for your recipe is to start by pre-heating your oven to 350 degrees.
Now throw the bananas onto a parchment lined baking sheet and pop them into the oven. Let them hang out in the oven for approximately 10 minutes. Pull them out and cool. Your bananas are perfectly ripened and ready for baking!Â
Another trick on the flip side. So the scenario is that your bananas are too ripe but you don’t want to use them quite yet. Throw your bananas in a Zip Loc Freezer bag and pop them into the freezer for when you are ready to use them. When you plan to use them you can run them under cool water or keep them out until they are thawed out.
Your bananas are perfectly ready for baking!
