It's all in the sauce
I just love a good sauce or dressing for my preparation. I love to make my own sauces and dressings because store bought sauces and dressing just don’t cut if for me. It really doesn’t take a whole lot of extra time to make and trust me its worth the effort! For making my dressing, sauces and marinades I always use my hand-held blender stick for the best results.

Simple Caesar Sauce Recipe
Here’s a recipe for the simple caesar sauce that I use for these most delicious caesar wraps. You can definitely treat this recipe as a sauce as well as a salad dressing. Simple and delicious. Keeps well in a mason jar and kept in the fridge for easily a week.
- 2/3 cup Hellman’s Mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tbsp. lemon
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/8 cup Parmesan cheese
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions:
Using a handheld blending stick or a wire whisk blend all of the ingredients together. Taste to your likeness. You can add salt, more pepper if needed.

Thats A Wrap!
So now that you have your most delicious caesar sauce all ready to go, let’s get prepping the wrap! To start, begin by prepping all of your ingredients.
- Chop up your rotisserie chicken. Don’t you just love a rotisserie chicken? It’s so easy!
- Fry up some bacon. I usually do 5 strips of bacon that cover 4 wraps. Dice up the bacon after is cooled.
- Finely chop up your romaine
- Get your Caesar sauce ready
- Using a peeler shave some parmesan pieces or if you would rather you can finely grate parmesan
- Have you Crispy Fried Onions on hand to top off your wrap before you fold it all together.
- Pepper, I always like to add an extra sprinkle of pepper on top.
Instructions:
I like to make one wrap at a time. Here’s how it goes: In a large bowl, add enough lettuce for 1-wrap, approximately 2 cups of romaine. Add about 1-cup of chopped chicken, bacon, some parmesan cheese and pepper. Spoon 2-3 tbsp. of the Caesar Sauce and then use tongs and toss everything together. Place everything onto the wrap. I like to add a tiny bit more sauce at this point. Top the mixed salad with those French’s Crispy Onions and a sprinkle of pepper before you wrap it all up!
