I’m pretty sure this broccoli cheese casserole will be your family favourite! Even the picky eaters will love this one! This broccoli cheese casserole recipe is easy to make with basic ingredients — it’s the perfect crowd-pleasing side dish for any weeknight or holiday dinner!
The ingredients needed are:
2 heads of broccoli, cut small
1-2 tbsp, butter
1 shallot, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1 tbsp. Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning
1 cup of hellman’s mayonnaise
3 tbsp. sour cream
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 tbsp. melted butter and 1/4 cup bread crumbs – Mix together good
Salt & Pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9×13 baking dish. Set aside
Steam two heads of broccoli first.
In a frying pan, melt the butter and saute the shallot or onion for approximately 3-5 minutes. Add in the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add in one can of cream of mushroom or chicken soup. Stir.
Add in the rest of the ingredients mayonnaise, sour cream, ranch seasoning, salt & pepper.
Mix the sauce in with the broccoli and pour it into the baking dish.
Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, and top with the breadcrumb mixture
Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 30 minutes.
