There is nothing better than a enjoying a cold beverage while gazing out onto the water in the beautiful Florida sunshine. It’s even better when the drinks and appetizers are offered at a good price. You got to love Happy Hour! I recently came across this incredible map of all the restaurants in the Fort Myers area that are on the water with boat access and also accessible by car. I instantly thought how much of a great idea it would be to include the happy hour times, and recommended food & drinks that people rave about!
I just love the Fort Myers area and we have been here for 12 years and I had no idea that there were this many restaurants on the water! I will have to admit that I haven’t been to all of these restaurants just yet but working on it! If you are visiting the southwest Florida area and you are looking for some restaurant recommendations check out my article on the 30 Best Restaurants: Ft.Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples. If you enjoy this article and ever take a trip to Key West, check out my article on Key West: The Ultimate Happy Hour Guide for a fun walking happy hour tour.
Using the classic Lee County Water-Access Restaurants map, we put together this go-to happy hour guide highlighting some of the most loved spots on the water, typical happy hour times, and one standout drink or appetizer worth ordering. I covered most of the spots shown on the map, but a few aren’t mentioned below.
