Grilled Pineapple Rings Recipe

Grilling pineapple brings out all the sweet juices and maximizes the flavour of the pineapple. Add grilled pineapple to top a burger, salsas, guacamole, salads and more!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pineapple, peel, core and slice into 1/2 inch rounds

Method
 

  1. Grill the pineapple begin by preheating your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Peel, core and slice fresh pineapple into rounds, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Lightly brush both sides of the pineapple slices with olive oil or melted butter to prevent sticking and encourage caramelization.
  4. Optionally, sprinkle the slices with a pinch of salt or brown sugar for added flavor.
