Coca Cola Rib Recipe

These tasty and tender ribs are so easy to make. Simply marinate in coca cola, then season and bake. They are fall off the bone tender and packed with flavour!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 rack of pork ribs 3-4 lbs
  • 2-3 cans Coca-Cola

Dry Rub

  • 1 cup Gram’s BBQ Sauce see below
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tbsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp. ground fennel
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Ribs: Remove membrane from back of ribs
  • Place the ribs in a ZipLoc Bag. Pour 2-3 cans of coca cola. Add enough to cover the ribs.
  • Refrigerate and Marinate ribs for 24 hours.
  • Drain the marinade and place the ribs on a baking sheet. Dry the ribs with paper towels really good.
  • Preheat oven to 300°F
  • Spread Gram’s BBQ Sauce over the ribs.
  • Add the following: brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, fennel, celery seed, salt & pepper. Rub the spices and sauce into the ribs.
  • Cover the ribs in tin foil. Place the ribs onto a parchment lined baking sheet (for easy cleaning)
  • Bake for 2.5-3 hours until tender
  • Open the tin foil up and brush the ribs with your favourite bbq sauce. Place the ribs back into the oven and broil for 3-5 minutes until sauce caramelizes
  • Let rest 10 minutes before serving
