Simple Bulgar With Vermicelli Pilaf Recipe

This bulgar with vermicelli pilaf is a delicious recipe that is commonly enjoyed in middle eastern or mediterranean cuisines. This recipe is made with blugar, vermicelli, onions, parsley, garlic and chicken stock.

Ingredients
  

  • 1- 1/2 cups Bulgar & Vermicelli Mix
  • 1-2 Vidalia or Red onions diced
  • 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1-2 tsp. Chicken Base Stock Powder
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 2- 1/2 cups Chicken Stock

Instructions
 

  • To begin, over medium heat warm olive oil/butter blend to a pan. Add in your onions. Saute onions until they turn slightly golden around the edges approximately 8-10 minutes.
  • Add in the minced garlic, fresh parsley and bulgar & vermicelli mix. Sprinkle the chicken stock powder over the mix.
  • Continue to cook everything together and brown the bulgar & vermicelli in the pan for 3 minutes until golden.
  • Pour the Stock liquid into the pan, stir everything together and pop a lid on it and simmer for approximately 15 minutes. After a timed 15 minutes, leave the lid on the preparation and just take it off the heat.  Keep covered for another 5 minutes.
  • Serve the bulgar vermicelli with grilled meats, salads and more!
